Here’s How Active-Level™ Four-Corner Air Suspension Works for You

The Ram 1500 is ready to carry the load with the available Active-Level™ Four-Corner Air Suspension. With five separate operational modes and individual control at all four corners, you’re sure to notice an overall superiority to your ride.

Adjustable air springs allow you to raise and lower the vehicle to one of five height settings, while the automatic load leveling is designed to maintain a horizontal plane even when you’re carrying heavy loads and constant driving profile delivers the proper headlamp-to-road angle for consistent illumination. Best of all? The controls for all of this are on convenient dashboard buttons, right at your fingertips.

These are the five modes you can select:

Off-Road 2 mode provides ample ground clearance. This mode has a +2.0 inch difference from normal.
Off-Road 1 mode offers outstanding balance of ride comfort and clearance. The difference from normal is +1.2 inches in front, +0.9 inches in the rear.
Normal Ride Height mode gives you the most comfortable balance of ride and handling, for everyday use.
Aero mode is ideal for highway driving because it lowers the vehicle to reduce drag and body roll while improving fuel efficiency. There is a -0.6 inch difference from normal.
Entry/Exit mode lowers the vehicle to ease getting in and out of your truck, loading the bed or hooking up a trailer. This mode is manually controlled by either the internal button bank or using your key fob remotely. The difference from normal is -2.1 inches in front and -1.7 inches in the rear.

Whether you’re going off the beaten path or a quick jaunt around town, the Ram 1500 can adapt to your needs. Contact Sunset Dodge Chrysler Jeep to schedule a test drive.
