Autotrader Explains What Makes the 2016 Dodge Challenger a Smart Pick

It was in a post not long ago that we at Sunset Dodge Chrysler Jeep introduced you to one of our favorite sports coupes, the Viper.

Not to be outdone, however, today we'd like to give the 2016 Dodge Challenger an opportunity to shine. As you'll soon learn, the Viper's certainly not the only performance pony in the Dodge stable that's worth a closer look.

Pair up with Autotrader pundit Jabari Jones for more information:

There's quite simply no quibbling with an entry-level engine like the Challenger's. The default drivetrain of the SXT trim, this 3.6-liter V6 makes a meaty 305 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque.

We've also nothing but love for the Challenger's eight-speed automatic transmission, as it sorts shifts with pinpoint accuracy and speed and, in the case of the base V6, provides 0-to-60 mph sprint times in the neighborhood of 6.4 seconds.

If you'd like to learn more about this terrific two-door, or wish to get behind the wheel of one, we encourage you to drop by our Sarasota, FL dealership. Our automotive aficionados are ready to answer your every question about the Challenger, or any other Dodge model within the present portfolio.
