Jeep Brand celebrates 75th anniversary with rebuilt concept based on classic model!

As some of our customers might know, this year's marks Jeep Brand's 75th anniversary. In honor of this momentous occasion, Jeep is celebrating with a callback to the iconic model that put it on the map all those years ago, the Jeep Willys MB. In fact, Jeep brand is honoring this vehicle with a modern rebuild dubbed the Jeep 75th Salute Concept.

As modern takes on classic vehicles go, you're not likely to find a more high fidelity job than this Jeep 75th Salute Concept. Designed just as its predecessor was, the Jeep Salute sports an open top, doorless design, complete with non-directional military wheels and even the classic olive-drab paint job that it sported in its first days on and off-the road. Despite its classic Jeep brand styling, this vehicle has been outfitted with some modern capabilities, most notably with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine which should prove plenty capable for tackling rough terrain just as the Willys MB did.

Unfortunately, this classic throwback of a Jeep Brand vehicle won't be making its way to our showroom, as it was a one-off production. But fortunately, we stock plenty of capable new Jeep SUVs right here in our Sarasota, FL showroom. So, if you're interested in getting behind the wheel of some truly rugged off-road vehicles, visit us at Sunset Chrysler Dodge Jeep for a test drive today!
